Awareness Campaign for Brands for Less

Overview

Campaign Name:

Brands For Less (BFL) Singapore Launch

Duration:

Pre-launch & launch phase (6-month organic growth period)

Objective:

To introduce BFL to the Singapore market, build brand awareness from zero, and drive store traffic in a saturated retail landscape.

Our Approach

Insight

💡 Singapore’s retail space is highly competitive, with frequent promotions and sale fatigue.

💡 BFL was well-known in the Middle East but virtually unknown in Singapore.

Strategy

Position BFL as Singapore’s newest “must-visit” retail phenomenon by manufacturing cultural momentum before and during launch. Instead of relying on traditional retail promotions, we focused on making BFL feel discovered, talked about and in-demand; not advertised.

What We Did...

Executed a guerilla “Big Yellow Bag” street activation to create citywide visual disruption.

Secured celebrities and influencers for live grand opening coverage.

Implemented a TikTok-first organic content strategy (BTS, shopper reactions, surprise finds).

Engineered physical queues through pre-launch hype and influencer drops — then amplified that FOMO online.

The Viral Effect

📈 0 → 10,000 Instagram followers organically in 6 months

💥 Massive organic tags and mentions across platforms

✋ Customers posting unprompted TikTok hauls and reviews

🎉 Brand recognition achieved in record time without an on-ground marketing team

This campaign proved that engineered hype, social proof, and platform-native content can accelerate brand adoption in new markets.
